The Green Project

The Green Project – Nature is Art” is being initiated by the new international art organization, “Sunflowers – International Association for International Art & Cultural Exchange”.

“The Green Project – Nature is Art” draws attention to nature through art. The coalescence of varied genres with one aim–to worship the beauty of nature and at the same time as an appeal for us to keep it consciously on our minds.

The idea is once per year (or twice, intermediate seasons) we will bring artists together – who, through their art, connect in a way with nature and take its breathing on as their own. This is a part of the vision of “Sunflowers”.

“The Green Project – Nature is Art” is an international interactive project, for which each artist can send their application for participation, and each year the event can take place in different countries. To this end we are open for collaboration with media and organizations, as well as potential sponsors, who are interested in the “green art idea” of the project – Unification of the art genres and the awareness that each one of them is unconditionally connected to nature.

“The Green Project – Nature is Art” started October 2009 in Sofia, with an exhibition on the theme “The power of water” with underwater photography and fine art. The opening was held on the 7th of October, 19:00 in 1908 gallery.
